My name is Fred D. Jackman. 
Rank was Spec 4. 
I was assigned to Headquarters Battery, 7th Battalion, 8th Artillary, Survey Section. 
In country from June 1969 to June 1970. 
After leaving Vietnam, I was stationed at Fort Sill, where I attained Spec 5. 
Discharge was November 1971. 
Following my discharge I returned home to Maine with my wife and two children.  I now have two grandchildren and enjoy fishing, kayaking and hunting.
